The Instructions

Step one: Add the apple slices to a bowl and cover with juice from half a lemon, a pinch of salt, and filtered water. Allow them to soak while you prepare the other ingredients. This will keep them from browning.

Step two: Prepare the stuffed dates. Make a lengthwise slit in each date and gently open it to create a pocket. Spoon about one teaspoon of peanut butter into the center, then press in roughly a teaspoon of vegan chocolate chips. Repeat until all the dates are filled and perfectly bite-sized.
