The Ingredient List

Creamy dairy-free yogurt-You can use any plant-based yogurt like a Greek variety. The key is to make sure it is creamy.

Honey-This natural sweetener is perfect for this dip. It’s unprocessed, and wholesome which makes it a great sweetener choice for this chocolate dip. If you are vegan, swap it out for maple syrup.

Unsweetened cocoa powder-You can use cocoa or cacao powder for this recipe. This is what gives the dip its chocolatey flavor.

Vanilla protein powder-I love using the brands Aloha and Truvani. You can definitely use chocolate protein powder, but I prefer vanilla with this dip.

Vanilla extract-I love the subtle hint of vanilla that this extract brings to this chocolate dip. Use a high-quality vanilla extract for the best flavor.

Cinnamon-I love the combination of chocolate and cinnamon. Not to mention, cinnamon has powerful medicinal benefits.

Optional sprinkles and mini chocolate chips-This is the fun part of the recipe. While these items are optional. they really bring a festive kick to this dip. If you aren’t looking to make it for the holidays, I recommend using just the mini chocolate chips.

Place a lid over the bowl and store the dip in the fridge. This dip must be kept cold due to the yogurt base. It can stay out on the counter for about an hour at a time.

This dip will last for up to a week in an air-tight container in the fridge.

Tips + Modifications

Are you celebrating another holiday? You can change up the sprinkles to suit whichever season you are in. Are you making it in February? Use Valentine’s sprinkles instead.

If you are vegan, switch out the honey sweetener for maple syrup. It will do the trick and keep the chocolate dip healthy.
