1 medium glass bowl
1 small spatula
1 whisk
- 2 (5oz) containers of creamy plant-based yogurt or 2 cups
- 2 tablespoons pure honey
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder or 2 tablespoons
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Optional:
- 2 tablespoons festive holiday sprinkles
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips *I like to use dairy-free versions
Combine all of the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Using a whisk, mix the yogurt well until it is smooth and creamy, and all of the powders have blended in nicely.
Using a spatula, scrape the sides and smooth out the top if you desire.
Optionally add sprinkles and mini chocolate chips to the top of the dip.
Serve right away with sliced apples, strawberries, and raspberries.
Place a lid over the bowl and store the dip in the fridge. This dip must be kept cold due to the yogurt base. It can stay out on the counter for about an hour at a time.
This dip will last for up to a week in an air-tight container in the fridge.
Are you celebrating another holiday? You can change up the sprinkles to suit whichever season you are in. Are you making it in February? Use Valentine's sprinkles instead.
If you are vegan, switch out the honey sweetener for maple syrup. It will do the trick and keep the chocolate dip healthy.
