How to Make Breakfast Parfaits

Step one: Grab yourself four mason jars with lids. Add 1.5 cups of yogurt to the bottom of each mason jar.

Step two: Add 1 teaspoon (or more) of your favorite sweetener. I highly recommend honey or maple syrup.

Step three: Peel and then slice the two bananas. Add 1/2 a banana on top of the yogurt, making a second layer.

Step four: Add 3/4 cup granola on top of the bananas.

How to Store Parfaits

Make sure the lids are secure and store them in the fridge. When you are ready to eat, remove a jar from the fridge and use a spoon to give it all a good stir and then enjoy.

How Long Will Parfaits Last in the Fridge?

I would recommend eating your parfaits within 4 days or less. The banana will start to turn brown and the granola will get soggy.

Tips + Modifications

If you would prefer to keep everything separate, put 3/4 cup granola into the bottom. Grab a banana and a single-serving yogurt cup, and place them into a cooler over ice for an on-the-go breakfast in the car or at the office. No mess is required. When you’re ready to eat it, empty the yogurt cup into the mason jar and banana slices and you’re all set.
