Step two: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper and then grease it with coconut oil or coconut oil spray.

Step three: Add all of the brownie ingredients to a large mixing bowl. This includes cashew butter, maple syrup, cacao powder, coconut sugar, coconut flour, plant-based milk, baking soda, and salt. Mix it until creamy and well blended. *Do not overmix.

Step four: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared 8×8 dish. Spread the batter into an even layer. Bake the brownies for 28-30 minutes.

Step five: Allow the brownies to completely cool. Then, spread about 1 cup of the Elavi Blue Vanilla Frosting evenly over the top of the brownies.

Step Six: Sprinkle crushed chocolate cookies over the top of the frosting. Chill the brownies for an hour, cut into 16 squares, and enjoy! *The brownies do not have to be chilled, I just prefer them chilled.

Storage
Place plastic wrap over the 8×8 pan or transfer the brownies to an airtight container and store them in the fridge for up to 6 days. *These brownies must be stored in the fridge.
Tips and Modifications
Feel free to swap the cashew butter for almond butter.
