The ingredients needed to make these vegan brownies.

The Ingredients

Flax egg: Combine ground flaxseed with water to create a simple vegan egg replacement that helps bind the batter and gives these brownies their ideal fudgy texture.

Cashew butter: This creamy nut butter adds richness, structure, and depth of flavor while keeping the brownies moist and thick.

Maple syrup: Pure maple syrup naturally sweetens the brownies with a subtle caramel-like flavor, replacing refined white sugar with a more wholesome option.

Plant-based milk: Use your favorite unsweetened dairy-free milk such as almond or oat milk to keep the batter smooth and perfectly balanced.

Cacao powder: Cacao powder delivers a deep chocolate flavor and offers more natural antioxidants. Cocoa powder works as a substitute if needed.

Coconut sugar: This unrefined sugar adds a warm sweetness and pairs beautifully with the chocolate, without the sharpness of white sugar.

Baking soda: A small amount helps the brownies rise slightly while maintaining a dense, chewy texture.

Salt: Just a pinch enhances the chocolate flavor and balances the sweetness.

Elavi Blue Vanilla Frosting: This plant-based superfood frosting creates that iconic vibrant blue color thanks to spirulina, while adding a creamy vanilla layer that makes these brownies truly “Cookie Monster” worthy.

Vegan chocolate cookies: Crumble your favorite vegan cookies over the top for crunch and contrast. Simple Mills chocolate cookies are a great option for clean, wholesome ingredients.
